The Holy Spirit

Sentence
God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

Collects
Almighty God, who taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: grant to us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things and always to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. BCP. Whitsunday

Let us pray [that the Spirit will work through us to bring Christ to the world.]
God our Father, let the Spirit you sent on your Church to begin the teaching of the gospel, continue to work in the world through the hearts of all who believe. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

O God, who in smoke and fire upon Mount Sinai gave the law of Moses, and who revealed the new covenant in the fire of the Spirit; grant, we pray, that, kindled by the same Spirit which you poured forth upon your apostles, we may fulfil with joy your commandment of love. We ask this through Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. APBA
