4th Sunday in Lent

New life

God has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and given us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18
Almighty God, grant that we, who justly deserve to be punished for our sinful deeds, may in your mercy and kindness be pardoned and restored; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. BCP. Lent 4
Let us pray [for a greater faith and love.]
Father of peace, we are joyful in your Word, your Son Jesus Christ, who reconciles us to you. With our eyes fixed on him, let us run the race that is set before us with eagerness of faith and love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB
God of compassion, you are slow to anger, and full of mercy, welcoming sinners who return to you with penitent hearts: receive in your loving embrace all who come home to you, and seat them at your bountiful table, that, with all your children, they may feast with delight on all that satisfies the hungry heart. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, who lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. APBA
