Life and peace in Christ

Sentence
"Peace be with you", says the Lord. "As the Father has sent me, so I send you." John 20:21

Collects
Almighty Father, you have given your only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and to rise again for our justification: grant that we may put away the old leaven of corruption and wickedness, and always serve you in sincerity and truth; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. BCP Easter 1

Let us pray [for a deeper awareness of God's blessings to us in baptism]
God of mercy, you wash away our sins, you give us new birth in the Spirit, and you redeem us in the blood of Christ. As we celebrate Christ's resurrection, increase our awareness of these blessings, and renew your gifts of life within us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

Risen Christ, whose absence leaves us in despair, but whose presence is overwhelming: breathe on us with your abundant life, that where we cannot see, we may have courage to believe that we may be raised with you. Amen. APBA
