Sunday: Ordinary 20A, Proper 15A

The will and call of God

Sentence
Thus says the Lord, 'Maintain justice, and do what is right, for soon my salvation will come, and my deliverance be revealed,'

Collects
God our Father, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as pass man's understanding: pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you above all things, may obtain your promises which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. BCP. Trinity 6

God of freedom, you have broken the tyranny of sin and sent the Spirit of your Son into our hearts: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that all people may know the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
