Love one another

Sentence
Jesus said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit", Jn.15:16

Collects
Heavenly Father, the giver of all good things, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and grant that by your holy inspiration we may think those things that are good, and by your merciful guidance may perform them; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. BCP Easter 5

Let us pray [that we may practise the faith we profess]
Ever-living God, help us to celebrate joyfully the resurrection of the Lord and to express in our lives the love we celebrate. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

Loving God, your Son has chosen us and called us to be his friends: give us grace to keep his commandments, to love one another, and to bear fruit which will abide; through him who is the true vine, the source of all our life, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. APBA
