God with us

Sentence
      God has destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:15-16
 
Collects
      Almighty Father, whose blessed Son was revealed so that he might destroy the works of the devil and make us the children of God and heirs of eternal life: grant that having this hope we may purify ourselves as he is pure; that, when he shall appear again with power and great glory, we may be made like him in his eternal and glorious kingdom, where with you, Father, and with the Holy Spirit, he lives and reigns, one God for evermore. Amen. BCP. Epiphany 6
 
      Almighty God, who wonderfully created us in your own image, and yet more wonderfully restored us: grant, we pray, that as your Son our Lord Jesus Christ was made in our likeness, so we may share his divine nature; we ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and for ever. Amen. AAPB
 
      Let us pray [that all mankind may be enlightened by the Gospel.]
      God of power and life, glory of all who believe in you, fill the world with your splendour, and show the nations the light of your truth. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB
 
      Almighty God, you have filled us with the light of the Word, who became flesh and lived among us; let the light of faith shine in all that we do; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. APBA
